Company 

 

Camelthorn Business Ventures (Pty) Ltd (“CBV”) is a Namibian company established in 2011 in order to develop impact investing in Namibia in the fields of real estate and infrastructures. 

 

CBV was inspired by Roberto Colcellini, a renown Italian lawyer, who made Namibia his second home. Roberto passed away in 2012 but his enthusiasm for Namibia and for this initiative convinced the rest of the team to carry on his legacy. 

 

Luca Coltro, founder and director of CBV, has 15 years experience in infrastructure projects valuation and management. Previously, Luca was a senior consultant at Bain & Company in the Boston and Rome office. Luca holds an MBA in Finance (The Wharton School, Philadelphia, US) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Statistics (University of Torino, Italy).

 

Franco Giovine co-founded CBV. Franco was a successful entrepreneur in Italy who decided to devote his life to impact investing. 

 

CBV was also supported from the very beginning by Prof. Roberto Di Giulio, Dean of the Dep. of Architecture - University of Ferrara, who leads the cooperation program with the University of Namibia.
